While the plus sizes of this top down seamless PERCEPTION sweater are still under construction (check on my prototype below), I’m excited to introduce already tested sizes of Augmented PERCEPTION sweater and its close relative Undistorted PERCEPTION sweater.
The sweater with vertical lines represents human’s Undistorted Perception of our reality, while the enhanced version of the same design Augmented Perception is aimed for crocheters who want to reach more while using the same crochet stitches (puff and post stitches here).
The latter can be worn on the right side and inside out (see video), so it will definitely enrich your wardrobe More (and who knows, maybe it will enrich your reality as well? Less is more, right? 🙂
Both are comfortable and easy to wear sweaters, they’re a great everyday staple that instantly elevates any look. One crocheter wrote that she could get gauge with Hobby Lobby Yarn Bee 44th Street, because (quote):
Hobby Lobby yarns are often listed as larger weight than they actually are. I’ve noticed it with several of the ones I’ve used. Before I used the yarn for your sweater, I made two gauge swatches to ensure it fit and it was perfect.
Hook size: 3.5 mm (E) or hook to obtain gauge.
Choosing the right YARN and HOOK to achieve great results
Gauge: 19 dc by 11 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4″ x 4’’); you might achieve this gauge either with Sport-weight wool or wool/acrylic. Check yarn weight here: www.ravelry.com/help/yarn/weights
And here is my prototype for plus sizes. This piece should fit bust 44’’-47’’ (I’ll be more precise after washing it). And next bigger size will be plus 4’’ to that.
