Who says scarves are only for people? Yep, scarves can totally be used as decorations! Depending on the season, you can give your pumpkins (or even your Christmas tree) a cozy new look. I’m sure you’ve got plenty of fun Halloween ideas, so that was a practical one from me :). These little pumpkins make scarf photos look even cozier!

This design actually started as a small test for my cardigan/vest pattern using the same stitches, and it turned into one of my favourite crochet creations. And it’s a perfect gift idea for both women and men!

Whether you love modern, dynamic looks or prefer a timeless classic style, this scarf adds a special touch. It features a repeated textural geometric pattern inspired by Art Deco ornaments – stylish, and full of character.

Need some ideas on how to wear it?

Fingering weight or Sport weight soft yarns that are comfortable to wear around your neck make this beautiful scarf a pure delight to wear. Light pastel shades will show off the texture better while gradient yarn will make these stitches more exciting to crochet.

The instructions are given for scarf 180 cm = 71’’ long in 3 widths. Take:

950 meters=1040 yards for width 20.5 cm = 8’’;
1100 m=1200 yds for width 24 cm = 9.4’’ (sample shown);
1260 meters=1380 yards for width 27.5 cm = 10.8’’.
