I’ve always been drawn to asymmetry and interesting garment assembly constructions that turn into geometric designs our eyes don’t see every day. This crochet sweater is built from 4 identical panels, assembled into a relaxed, draped silhouette. While sewing the pieces together, you can decide how deep or high you want your neckline to be to suit your personal style.
If you have made top-down, bottom-up, side-to-side garments and look for something different, this crochet pattern is made for you!
To make the process as enjoyable as wearing the finished garment, I’ve added step-by-step video tutorials: one video shows how to crochet each panel, while another explains the full assembly. For simplicity, I crocheted a cute mini version in my video to help you see every stitch and fold:
